Celeste Figs are the standard fig variety used in most American fig farming, and have that classic, rich, fruity flavor that is expected from a "regular" fig. They are highly versatile in their uses, being excellent for fresh eating, drying, and making fig preserves. Plant them in a sunny spot where they will have plenty of room to branch out a bit. They typically grow to be around a maximum of 25 feet tall, and about half that width. However, they respond very well to pruning, and can be kept at any size that works best for you.
